Aftermath
------------
Thunderous roars
The electic wind whips by
A shock wave bends and buckles the very air
Glass bursts like confetti showers
Crashing to the shaking ground
Then utter silence
Seconds tick by and
Alarms go off
Followed by hellish screaming
Bodies lie twisted around red hot metals
And lumps of stone stained black red
Electric wires crackle and fizz and spit
More sreams
The dust settles
The smoke chokes
Bodies which were seconds ago living
Are rent asunder like on a butcher,s counter
They were fathers and mothers
And sisters and brothers
A purple bloated head lies in the gutter
A gold ringed hand balances on a window sill
More screams from a legless woman
Blindly searching for a child
Everything now speeded up
Shells of buildings
Flashing lights and sirens strobe the grey street
Another day in Ulster changing lives forever
