Life in my shoes -pt6

I kept what had happened at Mary's house to myself,not so much because that I thought it was wrong to tell,just that I didn't really speak to my mother about anything at all anymore.
Nigel and Lara took most of my mothers time now, I often felt like I was an inconvenience to her if I ever did ask for anything or wanted some attention.
Despite what Wes had said to me about being his girlfriend etc,I didn't see him again after that night and forgot about him fairly quickly, which I was able to do due to having to live in a household with so much going on.
So it came as a surprise,when a few weeks later that my mother mentioned Mary and Wes to me, She said that we were moving house and that it was a few doors away from them. I felt excited at the thought of a new house, near my newly found friend,a possible new start away from this place,the place I had once called home but was now just a building where I had witnessed so much hurt and pain.
