Jason and Joel

Hello everyone,
I just returned from worbrk and I'm relieved (though still cautious) to say that nothing else has happened to me since that experience 2 days ago. I'm still confused about what caused it but after relaying my story to some of my coworkers, all I can say is that something is happening up here.
Their names are Jason and Joel; they don't work together though both do work nearby. I barely know them to be honest and they could just be pulling my leg but I tell you what, looking into their eyes as they told me their experiences suggested otherwise. I mean, they seemed genuinely confused and afraid... I felt cold, but not because I was outside.
Jason: He supervises construction workers, specifically those that handle cement, and he makes sure that all safety procedures are followed as well as making sure that they are on schedule. They had been out earlier today.
Apparently, someone had noticed something moving in the forest. This worker pointed this out to others and the talking started spreading around. This eventually got around to Jason who, being irritated, told everybody to get back to work, that is, until he saw it himself.
What he described was this: What looked like a fallen tree without branches had apparently levitated off the ground and rose, without shifting from its original position, to a height of between 10-15 feet before stopping for approximately 3 minutes. Then it continued rising until it was above the tree line; he didn't notice how everyone was reacting. It then turned on its y-axis 90 degrees before floating west and disappearing into the horroizon.
He can still barely believe what he saw and I quote "It's like a dream to me, it's just... so unreal."
Joel: Joel is a carpenter and from what I can tell, he'd rather take a wizz in the woods than in a toilet, but whatever. So Joel (this happened yesterday) decides to take a bathroom break and walk a little ways into the trees so he can relieve himself somewhat privately.
What he told me was that just after draining the snake, he felt very strong vibrations move through him. Believing this to be an earthquake (which can happen, though it is extremely rare for it to occur) he started running to tell the others forgetting that his pants were still down and promptly tripped, landing in the grass.
He turned himself over and saw everything shake. In fact, it was so violent that he swears that if he didn't know any better, he'd think he had double vision. He hears the wood groan and the leaves shake and there is no wildlife to be seen. He hears the earth grumble underneath him and it rapidly builds into a thunderous roar, and then it stops, a complete and utterly abrupt stop. Except for him.
I'm the first one he's talked to about this because he knows the others won't believe him. and if this is true, then why did this happen in such a small area? So small in fact, that his coworkers just a couple hundred metres away didn't feel a thing?
I'm thinking that all these experiences are related in some fashion.
