CAN'T YOU FEEL THE PAIN?

Can’t you feel the pain? As a single cell in the body of mankind can’t you feel the pain? It comes from deep within the earth, like a grumbling, and it belches out the anger of the helpless, and vomits the frustration of growing things, like grass, and flowers, and children. And it manifests as an ache, a chill, a fever.
It comes from high above and it cracks the sky and bursts the clouds and pours acid rain upon our roofs, upon our gardens, upon our souls. And it manifests as tension, as fear, as anxiety.
It comes from all around, like a whirlwind, and it takes on disguises like jobs, or money, or habit, and laughs, and hides, and makes fools of us all, and it manifests as high blood pressure, as depression, as cocaine.
Remember the time when we were children? How we laughed and played with abandon, and thought we would live forever? How nature was alive and perfect, and we ran through it young and carefree? We had it all then, then we grew up. And it all came rushing toward us and we were swept up with it and thrown against the rocks.
Now it rains and it hurts and there is no joy in the children. There is only the heavy pounding of mankind. And God is bleeding. Can’t you feel the pain?
They’re trying to put an end to forever!
