The Libyan dilemma (part 5)

As twilight set on the road to Hephaestus the sun still beamed on Mount Olympus but it shone brighter on one more than any other.
“See I told you what sobriety can do for you now come on another ten” said Hermes looking at Heracles with no intention of spotting as he was dead lifting what could be compared to a mini cooper formed of granite.
“Eight…..nine…..ten urgrmf!” as Heracles finished his repetitions he threw the mass of granite at least half a kilometre and stood proudly. His beer rapidly decreasing do to having a ridiculous rapid metabolism one of the many advantages of being a demi god, which left Hermes wondering how he got in that shape in the first place.
“Right lets trim off the rest of that belly of yours just try and keep up no stopping till you reach the top” Hermes said looking at the tallest point of Mount Olympus
Heracles did not say anything as he knew to fight gods, demons and things of unhuman sorts you couldn’t really on strength it took him a few years to figure this out. As he shook out his legs he watch Hermes fly to the top then jogging at first till he reached the Mounts first noticeable gradient picked up his pace and dug in.
“Ha what did I tell you my boys still got it, you may have placed a bet on the wrong chariot?” Zeus bellowed putting his arm around Poseidon waving his empty cup in the air like a trophy.
“don’t you worry yourself old timer I’m sure my boy and that witch have something up their sleeves even if Antaeus doesn’t know it yet” replied Poseidon pulling Zeus closer into him and refilling his wine.
“We will see, we will see” Winked Zeus not wasting anytime and sipping away at his fresh cup.
The gunfire through Damascus had truly filled the night and was letting up, the terrified people of the capital hid from the streets and rooftops. Screams of the confused and scared reverberated off the walls but there was one scream that tore through the city that was truly scared. That scream turned to a sound no one should embellish in and it grew louder as Antaeus broke the man’s arm that was causing this nightmarish sound. An ak47 hit the ground by both their feet the man being held by Antaeus currently hating that weapon for what it had gotten him into.
“ don’t they go on a bit or has this tiny creature forgotten he has just shot me five times” Antaeus proclaimed looking at his mother then back to the frail form of the man he was holding.
“It’s a good job you were close thank you”
“Its fine darling Hephaestus is just around the corner take your time with him” Gaia said encouraging Antaeus to torture this foolish man.As soon as Gaia had finished her sentence Antaeus proceeded to brake the mans other arm causing the radial bone to protrude from the skin. The man stopped screaming unable to take his eyes off the sharp angle of the snapped hollow looking bone.
