I wrote this after reading a book of poetry published in 1920 entitled "Modern Poetry" edited by Guy N.Pocock M.A. The last few pages contain 'A Note on Futurist Poetry' it contains the verse: Children+clumsiness=disaster Jack + Jill incline 1 in 8 puff pant summit+pail Bubble-bubble-splash incline 20deg+carelessness=biff bump rattle SPLOSH Jack - water + crown + abraision of epidermis + Jill weight 4 stone 2Lb = Misery. The reason given for this invented style is that we will not have time to write correctly as "We live ten times as fast as our great-grandfathers did." "In a world of noise and violence and speed, of trains and motorcars and wireless telegraphy, of planes and giant howitzers." Well I think he was very close and that text speak was the way to portray what I felt at that moment.
