NIGHT

NIGHT
The night is all we know, is all we care.
Lips joined to lips; the touch so softly dare
To breath the last enduring sigh, before the death
Of all this passion lost in deep and lustful breath .
A willing moistened kiss, reluctant to let go,
So sweet, Love's last attempt to plunge in dreams...so slow!
Our arms are intertwined, our hand imprisons hand.
The skin is marked with bites, that left their rosy brand.
Reluctant to depart, when Dawn comes back to stay,
Our bodies, shimmering, in morbid warm bed ,lay.
While thick clouds fight with stars , tending the night to close;
And sleep brings adamant and proud, the scythe of woes.
Like death is all this gloom, these shadows moving on.
The sudden glint of light, before the incoming dawn.
Lets hide beneath the luscious, feathered wings of Love.
The dooming sign, the golden mark of morning high above.
