POWER
I hear the mighty sound of dread
Deep into my unscathed head.
The forest is awash with tears,
That shed the Nymphs and Fauns in fear.
The pale moon startles and departs,
Leaving alone my bleeding heart.
I try to leave with no regrets
While dewy tears wash dark violets.
And in this perfume I recall
The previous moments to my fall.
He drove the world into contempt,
Into his heart, to make an end.
I heard his voice roaring afar,
I saw on his forehead, shining star.
One black and glowing in his breast,
King of the Darkness at his best.
His robe embroidered with black gems,
Black pearls and onyx on its hem.
Spear of flame for every fight
And on his hair the Crown of Night.
The Earth surrenders. His command
He will bestow with hardened hand.
And all the thrones in awe will shake,
For every future is at stake.
The secret might, the secret name,
I bear the signs of stars aflame
Upon my vest, upon my walk,
Among the secret silent stock.
All heads are bowed in reverie.
The world is doomed. Eternity...
He conquers light, the night that brings
On fields of black, this victor king.
He sees the void and listless space,
shadows, somewhat, across my face.
And down I go with no regrets.
Falling for him is my last bet.
