TEARS
Love will not leave my place. He knows about my tears,
My anger and caprices. My pride and all my fears.
He will not leave me amiss, with clouded eyes and crying.
The stream of my distress; warm water rushing. Drying
My weeping with his kiss. The glint of love, the pleasure
Of all of his caresses. High love that can't be measured.
I cry because I know, beyond the distant gloom,
The dark night will respond and cover every room;
Where we, with love intense, the sign of passion blend
With all those tears shed, until my wantons end.
Love will not leave my land; my body shadowed grove,
By all the mysteries of lust. In depths he roves.
He drinks the salted water of fountains in my eyes
Wet kisses of my lips, he sips. His breath mixed with my sighs.
Because he recognizes my tears; diamonds bright.
A chain of priceless sorrow; the pains of love's delight;
He will not ever leave me! He swims in my deep pond.
The dolphin of my daydreams, the faun in all my fronds.
