A Luminous fish

I once drew a luminous fish
he said first chance he thought of this.
It was intended, damn truth be told
but he cannot fathom, why some women cold
lie behind horizon lies
in a country broad with mackerel skies
with a fret beyond a sunset feeling
when sunrise finds only gazed at dreaming
his lopsided grin deletes the fracture
of other torments and spineless rapture
swimming the depths of priceless tomes
filled with sweated grunts and lovers groans
I fall in love he crosses out
and sails the tack to come about
his drooping list and bleeding eyes
in tortured gut she seeks his lies
a common fate this has become
to root amongst in swinish fun
to suckle at the rotted tit
stand to attention because of it
and wonder when with shuddered roar
he chooses pain, but comes back for more
for once smitten with his creation
he lost to her naked information.
