Treasure buried in my dungeon,
Key mislaid in sedimented lode,
The padlock seized, like my heart,
Shrunken chambers that lay fallow.
You crashed into my life's void,
A force that shattered cobwebbed chains,
Real flesh, warm blood, not fantasised,
Dared take that chance, embrace the pain.
Shouldering the tomb to open,
My heat sealed soul, cracking in the light,
A shaft in which the motes of dust,
Waft and weave in glee, dancing sprites.
The shroud that had confined my life,
Is now, with golden thread shot through,
The ricochet of reflected love,
Ripples through hours absorbed in you.

A beautifully written piece, KPH, it really moved me - there are some cracking lines and no weaknesses that I can see.
