Islamic State Defeats Turkey

Like a cloud over the world; the sun no longer shines.
Freedom is a thing of the past, since the Jihad cult spread its wings over the world.
They came to her city in Turkey. The border was breached. The Islamic Party in power did not want to fight them, when they could have!
Then some of their members showed support for the Jihadis.
“We are building a true Islamic State. We will not follow the secular state any more. Our rules come from Allah, and his servant Mohammed. That is all we need to follow – simplicity!”
They had already ruined Syria, and Iraq, Jordan and Libya! Now they were going to do it to Turkey.
There was fighting, severe in some places, but brutality won the day, and the Turkish soldiers feared to fight if the truth be known. Many surrendered, believing that they would be well treated if they did.
But they were not well treated. Disarmed, they were forced into columns, with hands tied behind their backs, and lined up in the town square, where all could see. The townsfolk were told to come out and see.
There was a Jihadi warrior behind each captured soldier, with a sword or long knife. At the call of a religious leader each warrior began to cut or chop off the head of his captured coward. There was screaming and squealing. In moments utter horror descended. A scene of surrender had turned into an abbotoir, instead of animals, grown men were being butchered before a stunned populace.
Their heads were carved off, chopped, and the last moments of desperation were soon ended in blood on the sand and pavement of the square. Years of training and knowledge of defence turned into a trickle or a spurting of blood on the ground, all for a misunderstanding about who these fighters were, and how they would treat the soldiers who surrendered!
Women screamed, grandfathers and fathers told them to be quiet. Children looked on, not understanding yet how different their lives would be. They had enjoyed years of Life. Now the years of Death had arrived.
An Islam they had never known before, or even suspected, had now come to dominate their remaining years. They had all believed Islam to be a good way, the path of righteousness, to be followed for the harmony it brought, and even if not followed correctly it inspired peace and care for others. Suddenly Islam represented all that was death and cruelty, restriction and horror. It had become the evil they had always believed it fought against!
In the new world whatever was good was now bad; whatever was bad was now supposed to be good! The world had turned over, and turned around. Nothing was to be the same ever again.
After that massacre no more Turkish soldiers ever chose to surrender again, when the news somehow managed to get to the rest of the army! Where soldiers found themselves unsupported or low on ammunition they would run rather than be captured. When they ran there was a danger they might be caught and killed in the rout. But if you could get away fast enough and far enough, you might at least be able to preserve your own skin!
Of course the Turkish Army had to retreat if its men would not fight. Town after town, city after city, fell one by one, just like in Syria , Iraq and Jordan, and more recently in Libya. No one could understand how a modern state like Turkey could be losing in this way, to a mere set of barbarians like this. But the Islamic State fighters had well trained fighters, the will to fight, and lots of weapons. Some very rich people must be financing them, but it was not well known who they were.
For people who liked music and enjoyed life, people who hosted or went to parties, read books, watched TV and films, the new Islamic State was a bitter pill to swallow. All those good things stopped. Only certain musics were acceptable. Parties were restricted to gatherings, and could not involve dancing or women.
As for political Parties; they were a thing of the past! To dabble in anything like politics was to invite prison or death. The only politics allowed now was the politics of religion, but every person who might involve themselves in anything which might once have been called politics, must put the one religion at the forefront of their devotion, and learn to justify everything by the one religion.
Many books were no longer acceptable. If you were not sure whether something was acceptable or not it was better not to risk reading or doing it in public, and if you enjoyed something behind closed doors, that you were not supposed to enjoy, it was probably sensible to be safe and keep it well hidden. You never knew when there might be a knock on the door and your apartment or house might be searched. No one wanted to be accused of anything, because there were no trials any more. Islamic State military leaders or Mullahs decided everything themselves without recourse to anybody else’s viewpoint or the old laws. A small infraction could result in the loss of a hand, or foot, a whipping or even a cruel death! Nothing was certain any more. The rules were not clear. Centuries of legal development and personal rights disappeared overnight.
