And how is your life,
the kids and the wife?

Couldn’t be better,
as I said in my letter.

Polite chit-chat.
Keep it like that.
Don’t say your spouse
is really a louse
who ran away
this very day;
that you are destitute,
in an institute
for the mentally insane
and feeling the strain.
As for the progeny:
your daughter’s philogyny
is cause for concern.
Will she ever learn?
(It seems uncanny:
her name is Fanny).
Your son is gay;
what more can you say?

No. Everything is fine
with this family of mine.
