What Happened to Carlo?

I wonder what happened to Carlo,
the macho man who had no doubt
about his inclinations and gender.
He was tough but, on occasions,
he could be considerate and tender
He was attracted to the fairer sex
always trying to chat up the girls.
And, in the lounge of a London pub.
It was just what he did one day.
A stylish woman with a Pekinese
caught his eye and he pounced
He was dismayed when he heard
the Young lady say she was gay.
We became friends even though
we were like chalk and cheese.
He, a dreamer, head in the clouds,
I, a realist, my feet on the ground.
Years ago, on a sudden whim,
he left town in a hot air balloon
saying he was going to the moon.
As I haven't had any news since,
I wonder what happened to him.

Usually it would be the other way round Luigi, a gay old lady does sound rather strange. A gay body builder stylish with the pikanese sounds familiar funnily! As does yes a stylish wealthy old lady looking around for a hunk for a toyboy.

He, a dreamer, head in the clouds, in his hot air balloon and all, and as a realist, my feet on the ground. And I wonder were you I wonder, are you the hopeful old lady?

Hi Nolan, it may seem strange to you but there are plenty of gay ladies around and, contrary to what you may think, I am not a hopeful old lady. I simply observe what happens in life and chronicle my findings.
