Take the nurse working in the asylum (insane), they themselves adopt a sense of immorality to the likes of the worst psychopaths, however, these “competent” people that “care” for the challenged are the worst only because of their intentional negligence and the fact that they are “normal” and the lunatic is viewed upon as an impotent miscreant. The position occupied by the mentally challenged in society is the ultimate tragedy begotten by the “mentally competent.”

Intriguing MMT.What's the answer, in your view? What about no 'care' at all?It may even up the perceived imbalance of power and that intentional negligence, but not sure how needs get met. Beyond the tragedy model, the worse and the better, where does one go with the 'lunatic.'

Gloomy perhaps but we all
Gloomy perhaps but we all face mental health at varying levels. Know exactly what you mean about mother care - institutionalised care has so many faults but the reality is that somebody has to apply medical knowledge at the same time and budgets apply as ever. If only things could be different.
