Hands rule worlds,
teetering on brinks of breaks.
Forsaken in this gravity
cracks form in her crust. A splatter
of crumbs, lacking hemispheres
shatter on the floor of God.
But he isn't in the mood
to sweep it up today.
Hands rule worlds,
slammed against Milky ways.
These days she keeps her head
out of the stars. Trying
to keep her head anyways is hard
when shards of comet's tails
come whipping through her flesh.
Hands rule worlds,
built upon atoms of rock
that beat down upon her, and spur
the revolutions of an axis
than never seems to find its bearings.
Tearing orbits apart can simply be
the turning of a day.
Hands rule worlds,
applying the science of thumb.
She can no longer rise
in the Western skies, like the sun,
and cries through this endless contusion
of night. But it's alright;
No laws of eclipse were broken.
