In Darkness (Suffocated)

I'm being suffocated by a clouding darkness
A darkness no one can see
A darkness sinking in deep inside of me.
Too deep inside to be treated
No medication can relieve me,
It grinds harshly against my soul
Finding a new low.
I'm being suffocated my a clouding darkness
Fake smiles hide what I can't confess,
A darkness breeds inside me
Too deep a secret to be discovered.
This darkness is slowly torturing me
It makes me cry tears of blood
This darkness is determined to end me
As I wallow in a depression mis-understood.
No doctor's pill could heal the pain
No stitched seal cure the corrupted vein.
No one can pull me out of this black hole
The hole into which I gently fall
As I cry red tears
That taste so sour
Upon a forced smile
A smile suffocated by darkness.
