"The plot thickens: the Maggots are now pretending to be gathering evidence of either known acts or made up facts as portrayed so well in the film they took at Morrisons. It's an anxious time, some of the Maggots are deteriating into a state of parana hungry and frayed state. They also claim to be having a day soon in court. What for? No idea. Except that they are again after something." Kitty stopped for breath, exhausted. "What can I say, it's harrassment and round the town they say it's the staff at the dhss..."
"Job Centre+?" I asked confused, "On the whole they aren't a bad bunch now."
"Yeah." Kitty replied quietly, "That's why I went back to dhss. Apparently they go to town on someone out of work, and get them run out of money, house and then... I guess you get to die in the street."

"You should be told if they're is a court case," Phyliss informed her quickly. "Surely?"
"Not sure of that either," I said, "What if they have someone using your name. I mean do they have anyone check that they had it from birth... I mean it could just be an old plot. Like that stuff with the books... I mean all of that all adds up. It sure confuses folk. Especially if they lie too about you. I mean does it make people think I behave like that?"

"This morning I went out to make a phone call," said Kitty, "I sat outside by the field and watched the rabbits run across the field. Then I walked around to the front, and when into a spare room near to the door so I'd still get a signal. I was freezing. A group came in after me. Minutes after me. Talking mad, and claiming horrible things. The worst of it is, they think they are so clever. It's a we are so perfect lot... "

"Same people?" Phyliss asked, "After someone else?"
"Yes," said Kitty sadly, "Only I didn't know what they'd been up too til later. Then someone let it out. One ofl them had killed a small bird, by biting off it's head. They left the rest of it on the road outside where they'd been."

"Are they the aliens?" I asked, I'd felt a rush of happiness when I'd seen the apparition in the city, it was just such a beautiful moment. He spoke to me. This was worse than any horror film. Only... It's so important to be correct in assumptions. I just wasn't sure if any of this was truly important. It might just be a cover up operation.
