The sound of the shattering glass echoed in the valley. 'Death' lurked around in the bushes, hidden, avoiding the keen eyes of the seeker. The silent battle between them continued into the night. Few could hear the screams of pain by either of the fighters.
A crackling sound replaced the sound of shattering glass. The seeker rose and left his fire for the seeker knew that 'Death' are around. In the darkness, between a group of trees, 'Death' uttered an audiable curse. The seeker drew his sword of life
The fire crackled on, casting shadows of its surroundings on the walls of the valley. A calm sound of flowing water was the only thing heard in the silence of the dark night
A swish of cloak and 'Death' appeared before the seeker. They stared into each others eyes with curiousity and enmity. They loathed each other although they had never meet or seen each other before
The seeker smiled and dropped his sword. A blast of light and he was dead. As he was dying, he gasped out the words, "The last enemy to be conquered is death. I have lived my life to the fullest and found it worth living and I would gladly do it again even if it meant dying again"
And thus 'Death' fell along with the seeker. He was conquered. What can 'Death' do against such meaningfulness?
The seeker knew what he had to do. He knew that he had lived his life. He was happy. He had achieved his goals
Above all, the main reason he defeated 'Death' too, was that he had no regrets.
