The Touch of Words…Touch

The touch of words…touch 

Moments precious spent

In grateful sharing

selves with selves,

the smallest  life’s experience

or imagination’s swirling energy in romp

through space time

a thought, a site, a sign, a sigh in voice…all

Not so distanced from the days and nights given them daily each in their own lives

their words are gifted in companionship,

read or voiced

genuinely, 

listened to, understood

touch the needs of touch, 

bathing their souls in calmness, in support,in stillness, in love

companionship’s

over time 

intertwine the two within their spinning cocoon, which sets them apart from their ordinary world

For they have created a unique space in time’s flow, 

words all their own gratefully given and received 

exist in each others minds, on paper, in letters, sent and received, in voices carried on air, 

in love’s words 

minutes turn to days to weeks and months change seasons to years. 

Words resonate in sounding depth of feeling 

despite the givers never meeting in person 

Words have touched without touch 

Words have grown love’s companionship 

full with happiness lasting thoughts on life’s ride up and down and through,

though separately lived 

their touch of words exist within, 

forever together in spirit.
