Butterfly

Soulful as a butterfly on the wind
You speak your notes, like a bird would sing
Midnight is a garden, filled with stars
When you speak to me
Raindrops of passion, dissolving...
From you; glisten onto me!
Desire is a desert, a salty sea
Wave on wave, I’m drowning
In your passion can’t you see?
Soulful as a butterfly
Fold your wings around me...
Cocoon me in your heart
Let our desires flutter free.
Woven our dreams will kaleidoscope
And become a reality.
One that can’t be broken
The summer breeze will lift our wings
And like two songbirds
Singing one song in one melody
One destiny...
We’ll sing.
(X 2)
In collaboration a song written with my daughters help.
