Remembered lazy ache
And Sunday smiles
When the warmth of you
Would quench my thirst
And leave me breathless.
As my dusk envelopes
Your dawn
And we melt across the waters
Of the invisible sea
Nebulous arms enfold us
With the promise of forever.
I watch you
Drift through the waves towards me
And smile at the fingers of light
Caressing your skin.
I sacrifice at your altar
And give offerings
For the new spring.
We are the star strands
That weave through
The empty night,
We are the fires
That burn in the deep desert,
Space and time,
Cannot part us,
Nor fade our perfection.
