He was on his own, driving when suddenly he felt unwell. Clutching his chest, he pulled over, and called 999 and asked for an “Ambulance.”
Harris was told, “The ambulance will be a seven hour wait.” He felt like he was going to die.
Harris called his dad, he told his dad how he felt, and that, “The ambulance would take seven hours to get to me.”
His dad was worried sick, and told him, “Don’t wait for the ambulance, go straight to the hospital, I will meet you there.”
They were both the same distance away from the hospital.
At the hospital, Harris was still unwell. They had to wait a long time, in the waiting room. It was a worrying time for father and son. After three hours there, Harris was taken to a different part of the hospital where his dad was not allowed to go.
His Mum joined them, many hours later, she had been working, many hours away.
His dad then went home 2am, when she arrived. Leaving his wife and son there, to get some much-needed sleep.
When the dad woke the next morning, his wife and son, they were fast asleep at home.
It turned out, he had had a panic attack!
