I love my life. I love my job. I am well known, and because of that I can be a good influence. I can, empower and encourage young women. I help them to stand up to bullies.
Where I live, life can be tough! That is why, I am grateful that I can make a difference, in young lives.
The gang rape, mutilation, and murder of a 17-year-old girl, shocked me and my country, to the core. Even worse, when she was found, disembowelled, with her private parts all cut up, she was still alive! She died soon after in hospital. While the horrors of her death were still fresh in our memories, it had been arranged for me to visit my old school, to encourage and empower the girls, against abuse. Some of these girls came from poor families.
Not everyone had the luxury of living in a very safe, gated environment like me and my boyfriend.
I love him so much! In my own right I am well off, and he is too. We had enjoyed Valentine’s Day. We went to bed later than evening. I was happy and content.
How or where and who, shot at me through the bathroom door, where is my disabled boyfriend? Is he OK? I, have never been SO frightened!
My Life flashed before my eyes, as bullets hit me.
