This chef wants people

to see the sights

why else would the portions

be so big. Plates full of

Wienerschnitzel and chips and

potato salad far too much but

so delicious we couldn’t help

but eat the plate clean.

This restaurant is near the river

As he serves plates of ribs and dishes

of goulash he wants people to stretch

at their tables as they finish their drinks

and say ‘let’s go for a walk along the Danube

or ‘Do you know where we haven’t been

for a while. The old town. Those building

are so pretty there and there’s that bar

we used to go to. That girl Anna was the manager there

I think I saw her at the tram stop the other day
