Calvary

He walked the road to Calvary

and tell me what do you think He did see

He saw the  women of Jerusalem

and tell me what did He say to them

He said

“Don’t weep for me but for yourselves and your Children “

He fell three times to his knee

and tell me what else did He see ,

He saw Mary His blessed Mother

and tell me what did He say to her

He said

Today you shall become the Mother of people everywhere   .

Oh what a long long hard road

and what a heavy heavy load

that He took all the way to Calvary

He walked that road to Calvary

and what did He hear can you tell me,

He heard them mocking and laughing at Him

and tell me what did He say to  them  ,

He said

nothing at all but then He said ,

Father forgive them .

What a tragedy that had to be

when He died on the cross at  Calvary

He died to set us free

and He rose to eternity  .

Thank you Jesus for what You did for me  .

Thank you Jesus for what You did for me  .
