The Dance Of The Marching Mushrooms

Well come on lets make our way now ,

across the bridge where fairies play

we’ll sing and dance at twilight time

until the daylight fades away .,

then we’ll  march like mushroom soldiers

with our funny little flat hats

all the way down honeycomb lane

wearing those winklepicker spats .

We’ll find the place where the ducks hide

In the rushes by Misty Lake

Then ask them for a snack or two

and hear them  quack for heavens sake ,

lets play all day like fiddlers do

in the place where the fishes go ,

and we’ll say quack quack don’t come back

to the place where the rushes grow ..
