The Man Who Wouldn’t Hide Away

He wasn’t able to cope very well after losing his sanity on drugs , He sold everything he had to support his habit until everything was gone , Abandoned by family and friends he had nowhere to go and no one to help him .

He quit taking drugs and lived homeless for years with very little money ,.Working as a dish pig in restaurant’s in the city . For 8 years he worked into the small hours of the morning where he returned back to a small room that was part of a Tailors shop that was owned by a Jew by the name of Hyman who befriended him  . Hyman was a  local business man who had seen some goodness in the dish pig who at first called himself NBC short for Nobody’s child .

The Jew could see that he had been through a lot and supported him with regular work in one of his restaurants . He gave him the name Adam and taught him how to  respect himself .  Adam had to battle his way through thoughts of being abandoned and left like an orphan in life . He had to stand up on his own , ever though he felt about two feet tall , he started to hold his head up again,

He never imagined he could be worthy to be loved or accepted by anyone in life but Hyman changed all that . He told Hyman how he had lived for a while with a woman who sold herself on the streets and then after she died he moved into a refuge where he did errands for people that helped him to buy food and clothes . He met a man who worked with the church and he got him work washing dishes for a local hotel ,

Then he met another man who said he was responsible for killing his grandmother who perished in a house fire . It wasn’t his fault but he took the blame and was beaten and punched by his uncle and that man was Hyman the Jew who brought Adam to a place where he could look up and feel ok about himself .

Adam until then had been nobody’s child , alone in the world with many difficulties and hardships . He remembered when Hyman told said , hardships will either kill you or make you stronger . He was ok to go by the name Adam and he began to feel ok about himself again and with Hyman’s support he started to make a  network of people who became like a family to him .

Hyman had taught Adam how to put his hand to making clothes from remnants of cloth and when he made some money from that he bought patterns to make stylish clothing . Soon he was becoming quite resourceful and people around the city admired and respected him ..

He met a Chinese business man who liked his fortitude and offered him a place to sell his hand made clothes .The Chinese business man was a friend of Hyman and it wasn’t until Adam ran his own line of designer clothes in the heart of the City  ,

Adam made an impact with the knowledge he had learned from the school of life  .

Once he was a successful business man he met the love of his life and they lived

together in a beautiful home where they fostered a handful of children and he ytold them all the story of his life .He said , when things go wrong there is always a way to make it right .If trouble comes , settle the issue fast and ground yourself in what you do best .
