Morning Coffee

The ritual of a coffee to start the day

allows a sip of warmth upon the lip

like a kiss of goodness for the soul .

It can be addictive however ,

it’s a little comfort I can easily live with 

and it helps to fill that empty hole .

A good dose of coffee that looks like Guinness but with a thicker consistency is the third thing I do every morning. Feeding dogs and feeding cats are the only greater priority, apparently.
