The Travellers
By Paul McCann
There are too many heroes lying in the dust
and I wonder if they , will ever learn to trust ,
they’re walking like shadows drifting across the moon
then they’re gone , yes they’re gone
There’s a song in the wind where the tumbleweeds spin
and if you listen real close you can feel it coming in,
its falling like a bird from out of the sky ,
then its gone , yes it’s gone
Yes its gone . Yes its gone , Yes its gone Yeah its gone ,
where the good people go some day , some day
There are too many people looking for a home
and I wonder if they will find one of their own ,
they’re getting pushed around to the edge of the town
then they’re gone , yes they’re gone.
There are travellers in time who have been here before
They’re here on a mission to seek and explore
The travellers come and go like strangers on the shore
Then they’re gone ,
Yes its gone . Yes its gone , Yes its gone Yeah its gone ,
where the good people go some day , some day ,
