The Colourful Joy Within
Lay me down in fields that hum and glow.
Where dandelions stretch in golden rows.
Their warm embrace, a gentle sweep unwinding in breezy.
Whispering secrets the earth will keep.
A gardener’s care, both tender, wise, and sweet, healing mentally through the tilling of the soil, is a connection,
of something beautiful that all may partake of.
The joy within shapes black-purple coleus to rise graciously among the rest.
Asters wild and coral bells ring a reminder to sing,
Of the bond encircle nature can bring.
When passion rings:
So let spring rain with soft descent, and with patience find
Each droplet is quite nourishing and content.
Our sweet potato vines reach far and near.
A testament made so dear.
Tracing the gardener’s loving sphere, unrivaled by any green thumb, we cheer.
Lobelia streams on sapphire vines, giving place and ready for
Prime time.
Flowing through life’s once unseen domains, enough to send to
Spain. Fuchsia sways in lantern light, sure to share the spotlight.
For that’s his plight; been lifted like a kite.
Calling site to the garden’s delight.
Beneath Japanese maples, stillness reigns.
Shadows dance where calm remains.
Colorful waves are fragrant in this sea of garden without.
The beginning of your pardon. Such a royal pardon is.
not a secret garden; mark the passage of time with ease.
This take was never a tease. If you think it was a breeze,
This garden may sneeze. And leave you please.
This is one's haven, wild and authentic.
Like a canvas painted with every hue, who? For you.
If you would only get the clue! I bring to you;
Come and walk through my colourful joy;
Here, the earth and spirit align; that runs through every vine.
We can even toast to some red wine: of this flowering so
Divinely, here the earth and heart combine.
An eternal bloom by design.
