LEAP OF FAITH

Two virtual strangers sat in a pub, one not so balmy summers night, just south of Crowborough....It was a hurried, wanted second meeting for them both.

Hands held across the dining room table, food forgotten, they already had a connection that allowed both parties to look at possibilities. The following statement was spoken and agreed to with caution but hope..."Let's go from here and see where the journey takes us...
Fate works in mysterious ways....

The lady, in dark moments of despair, would lie in her bed at night and allow thoughts and dreams to manifest themselves into wishful thinking, so fervent that her soul cried out for the desire, love and affection from a man who would eventually come along and know her for who she is and love her for all the qualities she holds within. Would or could such a man ever exist other than in her dreams....In return she would give wholly of herself, unselfishly, with total abandon..

They say if you wish long and hard enough, you can sometimes find all you are seeking...

The gentleman's thoughts, the lady does not have access to, however from the feelings conveyed in conversation, the word "Failure" seems prevalent in this mans mind, plus worry about not being able to predict certainty anymore. Does all of this prevent him from having hopes and dreams for the future? Maybe he doesn't feel worthy of the chance to trust and love again?..

We all trip down life's pathway, with it's many twists and turns. Potholes to avoid, ditches to jump across, stiles to climb over, all doable, time and time again if necessary. Sometimes we trip and fall over but we pick ourselves up, clean up any wounds as best we can, then carry on ahead. Going back is not an option. We never reach the end of this journey until we depart from this life....so we have to continue on the path, where we are right now and embrace what lies before us, try not to question it too much, allowing us to hop, skip and jump along the next stretch of the unknown...
It's called "A Leap Of Faith"

Over subsequent weeks and culminating in yesterday....I am enveloped and consumed by so many amazing feelings given to me by the man, sitting opposite me that night, who in a very short space of time has shown me every single quality
I now so desire, to allow me to jump off that mountain....
