A long narrow room,
With bars on the door,
It smells like damp,
Water on the floor.
The exposed brick,
The darkened light,
I look around,
And see in fright,
A young girl’s body,
There in the corner,
Like a rag doll,
No one to mourn her.
The shadows drift,
I hear footsteps,
They suddenly stop,
My breath suppressed,
The door creeks open,
A man comes in,
He has a weapon,
And is stumbling,
He introduces a flame,
To a steel bar,
He burns me with it,
I’m left with a scar.
He puts a blindfold,
Over my eyes,
Breath paused again
I unconsciously cry.
Up and down,
The cell he goes,
My fears increase,
As tension grows.
I open my mouth,
I can take no more,
I’m begging ‘please save me’,
Head pushed to the floor.
My blindfold shifts,
I see a knife,
Come at me with force,
And take my life.

I like the story telling
I like the story telling (again). I think you need a last verse to explain what the girl was doing there.. to complete the story.
