You left Christmas eve,
Forever remembered!
So hard to believe,
You finally surrendered.
Back to Grandad,
To be reunited,
Your survivors sad,
‘Love,’ being recited.
For you filled our hearts,
With memories galore,
Your body departs,
Leaving tales like folklore.
We will cherish,
Your 94 years,
I’ll say goodbye if,
You don’t mind the tears!

Mothers and Grannies
It is a lovely poem, it so sad that we only really appreciate them when they are no more with us.
See You! Tom
