She hears a name she dare not speak,
Drugged from the depths of evil,
Her hair stood up, a heartbeat skipped,
She gave into defeat.
For this name hath done to her,
A crime no one foresaw,
An unspeakable act, the epitome of treason,
She lived with only disdain.
Unable to speak, ‘til beyond the grave,
She communicated through paper,
Her note just words consolidated,
Her family shook dumbfounded.
Her mothers' tears, her father’s fists,
None an asset to her suffering!
No justice brought, nor closure gathered,
May she rest in peace, by her own hands.

Powerful words Niamh, very
Powerful words Niamh, very well written about a terrible situation.
That final verse really hit me.
I hope things can improve, or have improved.
