Taxi driver

‘Howaya love,’ hit her ears
As she entered the taxi alone.
‘Where are we off too?’
He asked, in a monotone.
Clearly his accent,
She couldn’t understand,
He smiled to himself,
And executed her command.
He took her to her air B&B,
A nice quiet location
Where he would be free
To perform an enucleation.
He opened the door slowly,
With his left hand,
He bumped into something tall,
It was the coat stand.
‘Who’s there?’ a voice said,
With a foreign accent,
It came from above him,
Stronger with every step ascended.
She let out a scream,
As did he, feigning her surprise,
He pointed a gun at her face,
And saw her blood pressure rise.
Her face gone white, she fainted,
Only him to break her fall,
But instead he let her drop,
Right there in the hall.
His tools arranged,
Smelling salts under her nose,
She awoke and blacked out again,
His equanimity composed.
‘Right you have a job to do!’
A message from the skies,
So he went ahead and left her there,
And went home with her eyes.
Into a jar of formaldehyde,
He put his trophy,
And onto the shelf
They did sit, of theft he was guilty.
