Time such the enemy- march to his fife.
Stoic and strong, notes so very supreme;
Yet he cares not of musings, hopes, nor dreams.
Born in the first spark of our cosmic life-
He lords impassively over our strife.
Emotion is but one continuing theme-
Time's shoulders shrug; unimpressed it would seem.
Play on does his dirge to our troubled rife.
Hiding within this primordial toll,
Is the other side of eternity's coin-
That spiritual place where two thoughts do join;
The gracious union of the heart and soul.
Life nods her head in the thoughtful knowing.
They are her seeds Time is gently sowing.
