Commonplace
Every day
In some way
Or another
People stepping
Off the edge
Into space
Under buses
Under trains
Out of pain
I count my brother
Castigated
Victimised
Misrepresented
And abused
By egotists
Moralisers
Hypocrites
Who’d put him
In a cell
Denying him
Free will
And the verdict
Of his seeing eyes
Upon this living hell

Powerful, painful, the tragedy of it lingers long after it is read. The anguish in those final words effectively became the readers.
What can I say, I hope this is a dramatic work but if it is not, my heart breaks with its reality.
