The Masterplan
By Parson Thru

Feeling exhaustion wash over me
And rain sweeping past the window
Across an empty car park
Bluetoothing Oasis through the radio
Slide Away
Live Forever
And hearing those for the first time
Twenty-six years ago
In Leeds
Not far, as the rain travels
But oh so far in life
Soundtrack to a snowboard video
Four heads in an upstairs room
In Oakwood
Now listening, like an obsessive
To the cymbal crash
And October sun streaking across the duvet
Voices in the corridor
Housekeeping
Thinking, in another twenty-six years
Well, I came into all this late…
Whatever

I understand where you come from with this.
However, never could get into Oasis. Gallaher's drone drives me crazy. I used to just ignore them until I had to listen to their entire set at Reading in 2000. Even rolled up in a sleeping bag couldn't drown him out. Never forgave them for that.
I guess I'm a generation too early.
Cheers
