A prayer, maybe
By Parson Thru

We really need this thing to end
To get our plastic lives in gear again
Don’t get me wrong
Our thoughts are with the families of the dead
And all the lonely bastards struggling for breath
But as the studio hacks and Ministers
Exhort us to respond as one
Beyond the lights and folded flags
The tragedy goes on

0n and on
it goes...folded flags,we all are responding...folded flags on coffin tops of war, or put aside for a more global view...who doesn't pray for some sort of return, plastic or otherwise, or yearn for rainbow wishes or gifts of patchwork quilts made of old folded flags? On and on it goes. A prayer maybe, of any sort, and a wing, for when it seems that's all we've got. Keep on truckin' Parson! Good to have been reading you after so long!
