Orange-Reddy Sunsets

So clearly in my mind’s eye,
What I see:
I see brightness, I see sunlight,
Orange-reddy sunsets or a blue blue sky.
A chirp, a squeak, a buzz,
Living, breathing, green.
So green.
Stained wooden panels, like coffee, like chocolate.
A creaky door whose creaks seem to speak and cheap, faded tea towels, a style to leap, pigs, cows and sheep.
Une boulangerie down a bumpy, lumpy street.
A Titan, bounding and barking,
Leaping and jumping,
With a smile on his face and the wind in his fur in this wonderful place.
Sniffing the sun whilst I lie on the blades,
To bask in the heavenly glow,
Like a lion sprawled out on a rock in the burning, throbbing Savannah sun.
Sunlight.
Orange-reddy sunsets or a blue blue sky.
A chirp, a squeak, a buzz,
Living, breathing, green.
So green.
