Silence

(Intro)
Let me introduce you to Billy,
He’d never really had a grip on life
Never had a family, no kids, no wife,
No real friends and no social life
His life was a concise silent night.
(Verses)
At the factory he worked, he kept himself to himself,
His existence was distanced from everyone else
He did not interact with the pack, never had done,
He did not feel the need to impede on their sanctum
And they did not impede on his,
If they ever needed anything they would leave him a list
Sometimes he’d find a whole week had passed,
Since he took a gasp and words were cast
On his days off at home all alone, he wondered if he’s deaf,
As he drifted into oblivion, no noise and no mess
He used to have an old radio playing in his hall,
Sometime he’d play Hendrix tapes that he had stored
He didn’t like television, so he got rid of it,
He liked poetry and would read them for the hell of it
So that was his life, didn’t seem too bad,
But he still chose to take his life into his hands
Still chose to kick them chair from his feet,
Dangling on a rope, backed by a Hendrix beat
Silence can be peaceful, but we are at peace when we die,
So anyone who says they like silence, is telling a lie
They’re simply testing you to see how hard you try,
To break that silent barrier and get into their life
And if you’re unable to get into their mind,
They will simply imagine that friendship is impossible to find
