Another Autumn

Another autumn
On the trill track of time
Another majesty
Another unforeseen sigh.
Another whispering pine
Another decline
One more inward tear.
A meekly flown golden stream.
Another stitch in time
Another year we’ll meet
In a starch London suite
Another string to their bow
Another year they’ll have grown
To present more immune.
Another long-cawing crow
Another unresolved open me
Looking for a stone
Another tear.
One more amputee tree
Another upward-spiral helicoptering leaf
Another unsighted breeze
Another wind getting up
To quickly recede
Another Karrimor gait
Another cloud-break
Another gaggle of teens
Another teetering tot
Another pigeon-chested boy,
With leash slung over his sleeve.
Another me.
Another walk into nowhere
From nowhere
Another autumn, another year.
