The Weight Of Life
Can be great, I know.
Especially when beautiful
Rainbows lose their glow,
And Silent Winds
Just blow and blow.

While sunlight needed
To sustain life as we know it,
Gets obscured by a sinister
Shadow,that cause pain,
And sets out to ruin all
That remain.

People in denial of the changes
That are happening all around
Them, and close their
Determined mind.

So many times we suffer
From  life's dark side
Yet with time,inner strength,
And belief we can bounce
Back and start to attack,
Not only the world that
Turns against us,But our
Own Demons that try to be
Our Keepers.

Those words mean alot, and I want and try to keep upbeat in my writing, like in life, when possible. Although sadly most times, it's easy to write grim poems/stories, fiction or truth as there so much going around, with one thing and another.

Rhiannon, Thank you for reading my work and for the lovely comment, I appreciate it. Glad it comes through that I did think long and hard and 4 rough drafts lol for this end product, that I still think could be better, so may tweak it when I can.

Yes inspired by various true events/peoples personal journeys and one was sufferring depression and she is still battling it now and so young. But I hope the positive side of comes out in the poem.
