To know, to scream

I want to tell the truth
But I think

For all my life
From childhood

All the way till now

I have never known the truth

Not the taste
Not the smell
Not the feel
 

I have never known

But I yearn beyond anything

To tell someone

To scream my pain 

To scratch and claw and bite

What has made me like this

But I don't know where I hurt

I don't know how I was hurt

I don't know why I was hurt.

Please just tell me why.

Why was I hurt?

I was just a child.
