Cast down from the arms of civilization,
Famished lands ravishing starving nations;
Where babes do stare with hollowed eyes,
And none but God doth hear their cries.
Where the sun lends the earth no respite from her
majesty,
And withering mothers do fight this life's tapestry,
Of destruction and ruin and political sin,
And broken souls where only death wins.
Where beasts and herds do whisper for mercy,
No rain, no water, no hope for the thirsty.
So which of us owes a debt to this nation?
Mankind himself, we are all Gods creations.
It starts with one voice, unafraid of being heard,
And our maker will have His final word.
