Invocation to the Gods on Ostara
By Rebekah
- 776 reads
I am here my Lord in the mists of night,
Of moon beam and starshine and firelight.
A communion of bodies, of achings and love
Blest be under blanket of stars up above.
With strength, and wisdom, laughter and wit
Man, woman together,,,Oh God how we fit!!
Your daughter, your sister, lover and mother
Joined as one just made for each other.
With horns held high the panpipes swell in splendor o'er the hills,
Then to your side I'm swiftly drawn my heart's desires fulfilled.
I call, cajole and do entreat, Come be with me this hour,
Then take me sweetly as your own in wooded wedded bower.
The dew be kissed by these soft lips as does the dragonfly
Flit o'er the gently scented pond when summer's eve is nigh.
Come teach me ways of hunter bold in softest human skin
And let us trod the forest path, and find sweet love within.
