Anger Unrestrained

Does the night allow one to decry their state
of affairs as turmoil turns to tragedy
with headlines
absorbing the horror
of a deed done and images to forget?
Later in the news of tomorrow’s ink an
inevitability of circumstances
is shouted from the tallest limbs
when action is circumvented by might
and a weapon of destruction
is used with improper thoughts
maiming and destroying innocents
once having umpteen days to live for---
brutal home invasions
madness leading to destructive urges
and enduring self-afflicted pain.

You're very busy today
You're very busy today Richard, the line that struck me the most in this was,
Later in the news of tomorrow’s ink an
inevitability of circumstances
is shouted from the tallest limbs,
damn I wished I'd written that!
