face and cried

so much goodness

in this world

too much sadness

beneath the sky

I hid my face

& I cried.

Very sincere Richard, so sad but think of it this way you can cry of joy too, a wonderful world, your poem would stay the same. Just depends you look at it. This is a very good poem.
