Leaves of Autumn

are adrift on Autumn’s

waterfall of colour

and Poplar leaves tinkle

like bells during afternoon’s

breath.Gentle soundings

create a softness

within my heart and lead me

from lofty tree stands

to layers of falling calico.

In the stillness of this

moment I know my God

my Father is alongside

as I face each moment in life.

His divine bells of love ring

melodies that keep calling.
